Upcycled men's shirt to girl's dress

It's pretty hard to see, but I put six pleats in the skirt front.

I gathered the skirt back, then added some 1/4" elastic to the seam.  I wish I had a picture of the awesome sleeves - I used the bottom of the original sleeves.

A little ruffle and bias binding for the neck.

Some loops were added to keep the tie in place.

I stitched the button placket closed...up to about 2 inches from the waist.
